Softer leather. Same attitude. Newly tanned for this season, Artemis leather carries the same rugged DNA as all Doc’s boots and shoes, but a little easier to break in. Welted on a DMS air-cushioned sole punched with our signature yellow stitching, the 1460 8-eye boot is detailed with tonal eyelets and laces to round off the utilitarian profiles. The update of our most renowned silhouette is built for year-round wear and fitted with Insite insoles for added comfort.

The DMS sole is a cornerstone of Dr. Martens construction. A two-tone PVC sole marked with our signature grooving and our unique tread.
Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed and reinforced with our signature welt stitch.

Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply a neutral or correct colored wax based shoe polish. Buff with a Dr. Martens Shoe Brush to restore shine as desired.
This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
